Work with us at our incredible school
Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) is a not-for-profit sponsor of 39 primary and secondary academies. Our vision is for all young people to have access to the highest academic, social and practical skills required to achieve their full potential, whether going on to study at a leading university or entering the world of work. We are determined to become the Trust that makes the biggest difference, both inside and outside the classroom. Our successful family of schools educates over 27,000 students across many areas of the country. We are continuing to improve outcomes for our students despite being largely in areas of historic academic underachievement.
Ormiston Rivers Academy is a thriving, over-subscribed academy located in a picturesque riverside town. We are inclusive and community spirited and were graded “Good” at our most recent Ofsted inspection in September 2016.All Ormiston academies share the OAT ethos of: ensuring every child reaches their full potential; being aspirational and committed to academic excellence and being supportive yet courageous in its approach.
We are committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children & young people and will conduct recruitment checks including a full DBS check. All staff are expected to share this commitment.
