Please also find a link below to updates from the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex: https://www.essex.pfcc.police.uk/home/coronavirus/ Government emergency food parcels - If you become aware of an individual who is receiving a food parcel from the Government and no longer wants or needs it, Essex Welfare Service (0300 3039988) call handlers are now able to support any resident who wishes to de-register. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek (18-24 May) is fast approaching and the theme this year is kindness. Mental Health Foundation have a new challenge launching today for throughout May called ‘Take Action, Get Active’ to get you moving and feeling good, whilst raising money for Mental Health. Their challenge is all about being kind to yourself, by taking 30 minutes out of every day in May to do something physical. You can be as creative as you like with this challenge – as long as you are moving! We have shared plenty of inspiration ideas like the attached on our website (https://www.maldon.gov.uk/info/20080/your_community/9756/physical_and_mental_wellbeing), plus check out Active Essex website (https://www.activeessex.org/keep-essex-active/) and live workouts for #KeepingActiveAtHome and follow the Sport England #StayInWorkOut campaign.
