No planned closure
There is NO planned closure and Rivers will only close following advice from the Public Health England. If this advice changes, we will contact parents and carers immediately. A survey will be going out tomorrow to find out if you have internet access in the event of a closure. Staff have been trained on how to set work and students are being shown how to access google classroom. Further correspondence will be shared with parents in the event of using this medium.
We are doing everything we can to support students and staff at this stressful time. A contingency plan is in place depending on advice we receive . All external events in the academy have been postponed and assemblies will not take place. We will continue to monitor daily and follow any new guidance we are shared.
