World Book Day 2021 - 4th March!
We are happy to release the details of events that are taking place at ORA and OAT in celebration of World Book Day 2021. All of the details can be found in the letter below.
World Book Day - National Book Tokens!
As part of the World Book Day celebrations, we will be receiving our annual supply of book tokens. The choice of books is excellent this year: there are four great books that you can get for free with your voucher (or £1 each during the promotion) and, should you prefer, you can use the token to get £1 off of any books worth £2.99 or more in most major supermarkets and book retailers. These will be given out at the earliest opportunity when you return to school.
More information can be read below:
In the pdf above there is also an excellent competition to design a book token that will be printed and used by National Book Tokens over the Christmas period.
There are some great prizes to be won. The deadline for entry (online or by post) is Friday 2nd April. However, if you would like our help in submitting your entry please provide us with your design by Friday 19th March.
We will also have our own, in school, competition. If you wish to enter, send us a copy of your design by Friday 2nd April. Please hand it to Miss Butler or email a picture of your design to [email protected]
ORA Virtual Library!
In the run up to World Book Day, we are launching our own virtual library to enable you to enjoy some of the wonderful, free audiobooks and ebooks that are available on the internet.
All you need to do is open the pdf below and you can browse the bookshelves to choose something that you might enjoy.
