The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate dynamic and creative classroom practice combined with a passion for their subject.

Non-Teaching Vacancies

ASSISTANT COOK – New NJC Scale Point 6 £16,288 per annum Term time only + 1 Week 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible person to join our hard-working, supportive and welcoming catering team as soon as possible.

Duties will include preparation, cooking and serving of food to students, staff and visitors in our busy “Rivers Café”.  You will work as part of a team, led by our Hospitality Manager.

Previous knowledge and experience of catering or a working kitchen environment and working in schools would be an advantage.

STUDENT SUPPORT ADVISOR – Required September 2019

New NJC Scale Point 24, 37 hours per week, Term-time only + 2 additional weeks actual starting salary: £24,512 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Student Support Advisor to join the existing team at our successful and thriving Academy.

The role will involve providing pastoral and behavioural support to students in all year groups and to monitor and promote student attendance. Student Support Advisors play a key role in supporting student performance, attendance and behaviour across the Academy, working with students, staff and parents to find the most effective ways to promote and support achievement.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, calm and approachable with a “can-do” attitude, and a genuine interest in improving the life chances of our students.
