Non-Teaching Vacancies

ASSISTANT COOK – New NJC Scale Point 6 £16,288 per annum Term time only + 1 Week 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible person to join our hard-working, supportive and welcoming catering team as soon as possible.

Duties will include preparation, cooking and serving of food to students, staff and visitors in our busy “Rivers Café”.  You will work as part of a team, led by our Hospitality Manager.

Previous knowledge and experience of catering or a working kitchen environment and working in schools would be an advantage.

LEARNING RESOURCE/ STUDENT HELPDESK ASSISTANT – Required as soon as possible.

New NJC Scale Point 4, 37 hours per week, Term-time + 2 additional weeks Actual starting salary: £16,044 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Resource/Student Helpdesk Assistant to join our successful and thriving Academy.

The role will be based in our busy and popular Learning Resource Centre, where you will support students in accessing and maximising the facilities and resources available, and will be the first point of contact for students in helping with basic ICT issues such as setting up E-mail accounts, re-setting passwords, etc.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and approachable with a “can-do” attitude and the ability to demonstrate a keen eye for detail.  Previous experience of working with children and young people, particularly in an educational setting, would be an advantage.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cover Supervisor/Administrator to join our successful and thriving Academy.

The role will involve responsibility for the administration and organisation of the academy’s “cover arrangements”, and the provision of classroom cover for short-term absences of teachers, undertaking registration and supervision of whole classes.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and approachable with a “can-do” attitude and the ability to demonstrate a keen eye for detail.
