Non- Teaching Vacancies

1:1 Learning Support Assistant –  September 2017 start 32.5 hours per week (8.30am to 3.30pm) 5 days per week. Term time only + one inset day


We are  seeking a committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join our successful and innovative SEN department. The post will  be specifically to support and individual student, and therefore the contract will cease should the student leave the school.

The successful applicant will be:

  • Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic
  • Positive and professional
  • Educated to at least GCSE grade C in English & Maths
  • Able to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and others
  • Ideally, experienced in supporting students with special educational needs or disability, specifically emotional, behavioural and attachment difficulties, and ADHD

Kitchen Assistant – September 2017 start hours negotiable from 7.30am, 5 days per week. Term time only + one week

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible person to join our hard-working, supportive and welcoming catering team. Duties will include preparation, cooking and serving of food to students, staff and visitors in our busy “Rivers Café”. You will work as part of a team, led by our Catering Manager. Previous knowledge and experience of catering or a working kitchen environment and working in schools would be an advantage.
